In the midst of all the rumors that came to light earlier about Lionel Messi leaving the Argentinian National Football team, “La Albiceleste” has confirmed a friendly match that will take it all the way to the Asian continent. This match against Hong Kong will take place on October 14th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Football Association. Hong Kong vs Argentina Tickets are already for sale for those who would like to see Messi live in a stadium.
According to the South China Morning Post, HK officials are hoping to have a full attendance of 40,000 fans, though ticket prices are highest ever offered (HK$490-HK$1,800) for a football game in the area. The cost of staging the match is a whopping HK$30 million.
A clause was written in the deal to guarantee the appearance of the Argentine football stars that at least 15 players from their World Cup squad must attend the game. Before heading down south, Messi and co. will play against Brazil in Beijing’s national stadium.
